November 3 marked the 20th anniversary of our trusted partner—the Charitable Foundation of St. Martin de Porres.

Father Mykhail called this day a Day of Thanksgiving to those defending our Independence on the frontlines—for keeping the sky over Ukraine, for the opportunity to live, serve, and support one another.

Fastiv residents and parishioners simply call this foundation the House of St. Martin. Because a temple is not just walls, it’s a place where everyone has the right to warmth, love, and support.

Here, doors are open to all—from the needy to children. And this is perhaps the greatest recognition any community can receive.

During the celebration, we spoke with people on the streets, those waiting in breadlines, and a woman who shared stories about Father Mykhail and his brothers and sisters in service along her way. Every word resonated with gratitude, trust, and faith in goodness.

The House of St. Martin features a wealth of projects that warm hearts. From a small hut, it has grown into a great beacon of light. Here, they bake bread, prepare meals, and support the elderly, sick, and lonely. They run children’s programs, maintain volunteer initiatives for frontline support, and host art and music groups.

This is where goodness multiplies through human hands and hearts.

This year’s celebration brought together like-minded individuals from around the world—friends, partners, diplomats, volunteers, and benefactors who’ve stood side by side in service for years. The foundation honored them with awards and titles of Honorary Ambassadors—symbols of gratitude for loyalty, sacrifice, and shared mission to create good.

During the divine service and concert at the Fastiv House of Culture, many couldn’t hold back tears—tears of gratitude and beauty born from faith, humanity, and love. Most precious was the children’s laughter accompanying the celebration, for children are the future, foundation, and hope of our nation.

We bow deeply to you, friends, for your service, partnership, strength, and generosity of heart.

In these challenging times of trials, the Lord sends His angels. For our “Wings of Victory” foundation, the House of St. Martin has become such an angel.
