We work every day, and each day of our work is a support, a restoration of faith in life, and a chance for recovery for those who have paid for our protection with their own health.
We do not stop despite shelling, financial difficulties, staff shortages, fatigue, and burnout among the team, especially for those who have been affected by the war since 2014. We are expanding our areas of assistance and seeking new opportunities to be there for those in need.
We support not only veterans but also children, as they are our future. The war takes away their carefree childhood, forcing them to experience loss, hear sirens and explosions, and live in constant anxiety and uncertainty. That is why children’s mental health needs care, attention, and recovery just as much as physical health.
We collaborate with charitable foundations “Grow in Family” and “Children of Hope.” Outings into nature and communication with horses (equine therapy) help children reduce stress levels, regain a sense of safety, learn to trust the world again, and simply be happy children. During the war, such moments are crucial for their psychological recovery.
Our social transport provides free medical transportation for veterans every day, takes children to equine therapy, and helps them reach inclusion centers, rehabilitation facilities, and medical institutions. For many people, this is not just transportation—it is the opportunity to receive treatment, undergo rehabilitation, and take another step towards a full life.
An important component of recovery is sports rehabilitation. It helps restore physical abilities, strengthens psychological resilience, returns confidence in one’s own strength, and promotes the socialization of veterans. The equipment installed by our foundation in the “Olympic Style” gym and pool helps project participants effectively undergo rehabilitation and restore their health every day.
In May alone, we provided free services to 168 beneficiaries, and another 128 in June, despite the heat and constant shelling. We continue to consult veterans, accompany them in hospitals, organize online consultations, and respond to every request for help.
We sincerely thank our partners for their trust, support, and understanding. Summer is passing quickly, and we are already preparing for winter. We are working on ensuring alternative sources of heating and electricity, as we understand that even more difficult challenges may lie ahead.
It is particularly gratifying to see that social transport and free medical transportation for veterans are developing more actively in communities. Four years ago, we were among the first to take responsibility for transporting, providing medical support, and rehabilitating veterans with severe injuries in the rear. Today, we see that our work is becoming an example for others. This means we have chosen the right path.
Behind every number in our reports stands a living person: their pain, their struggle, their hope. Their small and large victories.
It is for these people that we continue to work every day.
We believe that recovery is not just about treatment. It is about returning to life, about human dignity, about the ability to dream again, work, embrace loved ones, and build a future.
We do not know what tomorrow will bring or what the next winter will be like. But we do know one thing: as long as there are people who need our help, we will be there.
Thank you to everyone who supports our team, trusts us, and walks this path with us. It is thanks to our joint efforts that we can help more veterans, children, and their families.
We stand strong. We recover. We help.
Because recovery is a journey that no one should have to walk alone. Together we are stronger. Together — we restore Ukraine.
