Another group of veterans who prefer to start their own businesses spent a busy and productive weekend attending the workshop “Start and Improve Your Business.” This course is specifically designed for veterans with entrepreneurial ambitions as part of the “Aybolit: On the Way to Recovery” project.
Participants arrived with diverse but equally strong ideas, ranging from a cheese dairy and a design studio to a children’s sports center and innovative creative formats. In particular, they:
• Thoroughly reviewed all sections of business plans,
• Created a checklist of next steps,
• Engaged in a business game that helped reveal the realities of entrepreneurship.
It was fascinating to see how initial ideas gradually gained clarity and developed into structured plans. These two days demonstrated once again that veterans embody not only strength and endurance but also motivation, entrepreneurial drive, and a willingness to create something new even after facing the toughest challenges. This training proved that inspiration, the right focus, and support can help translate even the wildest dreams into concrete steps.
We thank each participant for their openness and courage in sharing their ideas, and we extend our gratitude to the project team for their support and for providing a space where these ideas have the opportunity to become a reality.
‼ This initiative is realized by the Wings of Victory charity within the Capable and Resistant Program implemented by the East Europe Foundation with the financial support of Switzerland.
