We Stubbornly Choose Life—”Wings of Victory” in September 2026

The russians are trying to deprive us of our future. Yet, every day we continue to create it.

Amidst the ruins, children are born. Under the roar of explosions, people continue to love, dream, embrace their loved ones, and rescue strangers.

We bury the fallen, wipe away tears, piece ourselves back together, and once again head toward those in need of help.

The enemy can turn our cities into ruins, but they cannot ruin our souls. For even where they sow death, we stubbornly choose life.

In September 2026, the “Wings of Victory” Charity Fund, through its project “Aybolit: On the Way to Recovery,” provided services to 195 beneficiaries, including:

  • Equine-assisted therapy—41 individuals
  • Transportation—67 individuals
  • Swimming pool—7 individuals
  • Gym—42 individuals
  • Rehabilitation—12 individuals
  • Support—2 individuals
  • Retreats—24 individuals

During this time, our transport covered 3,747 kilometers.

Also in September, at the request of our fund, 13 doctors from the Ukrainian Health Ministry’s “Lisova Polyana” mental health and rehabilitation center for veterans were awarded.

We are immensely grateful to our medical colleagues for the lives saved, souls healed, and their daily work at the edge of human capabilities.

In total, over the project’s 3 years and 9 months, our small team has assisted 8,698 individuals, including providing medical transportation to 3,570 people. Our two vehicles covered 268,309 kilometers, a distance sufficient to circle the Earth nearly seven times along the equator!

Behind these numbers are not just kilometers of roads or other reporting metrics. Behind them are human destinies: healing, rehabilitation, and a return to a full life.

Behind every number is a person: their pain, fear, hope, and trust.

Behind every such trust lies our responsibility—not to leave them alone. Neither by day nor by night.

A low bow to our defenders who protect our right to life at the cost of their own.

Eternal memory to those who will never return home.

Sincere gratitude to our partners, benefactors, and everyone who has helped us stay close to our defenders all these years.

Yes, we are tired. Terribly tired. From air alerts, from losses, from endless reports of the fallen. From the fact that the war takes our warriors every day and kills peaceful people, including children. From the realization that the world sees this terror, yet it continues.

But fatigue does not mean capitulation. Pain does not mean defeat. And even fear does not mean that we will stop.

We need to endure longer than the enemy can endure. For a day. For an hour. For one moment longer. For the sake of those who hold the front. Those who are no longer here. The children being born today amid the ruins of collapsed buildings.

We are not omnipotent. But if the enemy seeks to stop us from living, then every saved life, every good deed, every person we have helped to rise becomes our answer.

We stand. We work. We help. We will endure.
